"Lonesome Dove"
Scholar: Dr Jerry Nye
Time: 6:30pm
Each of the books' programs includes a discussion and an overview presented by a humanities scholar.
Scholars open each session with information on the author, the context of the book, and how it relates to the discussion theme.
Participants then have a chance to discuss their own thoughts on the book. Through these interactions, people learn more about each other and their communities, and discover how reading a book and looking at the world in a new way can be life changing.
