The LPS web site removed all their email addresses so I figure they were getting a lot of complaint emails. Lawton should not expect the home owners to bear the cost of the school improvements. The military who are moving here should help as well. Since most of them will be renting, I suggest a sales tax, because they will certainly be buying things.

Elderly people already have a house full of furniture and dishes so they don't buy as much as younger people, so they will not be as hard hit by the sales tax as they would be by the property tax.
