Lawton as we know it is failing because of poor management and lack of motivation of many Lawton residents, mostly management. The management or Current Representatives And Personal, (CRAP) for sort, are pocketing money or using it as toilet paper. I don’t know which, but you may be asking, “What proof do you have?” Well the proof is the poor roads, the condition old Lawton is in, the mall would probably die if it wasn’t for the movie theater and some good fast food joints, the fact that you can count the number of activities for youths to do on one hand is horrible, and I know some people need sleep but there are many who don’t go to bed until 3:00 A.M. so where are the 24 hr places? I’ll tell you, they’re in New York City, where kids and adults have fun and they get money from tourists who also have fun. I know I have been focusing on the bad parts of Lawton so let us mention the good things about Lawton: We have a Starbucks which was rumored for years but nothing happened next Olive Garden I’ll believe the rumor only after I see the restaurant, and there is always the coming soon signs for example the Wolf Creek Mall coming in ’05 no ’06 not yet will we see it in ’07 that is one answer only God knows. But the job market is good… only if you have a job!!! And on top of it all Lawton is next to a military base but the technology here is what they were using when the dinosaurs where around. Though I have listed many things wrong with Lawton, the list is only a few inconveniences that pledge Lawton.
Now I know a few of you out there are saying, “Well what are you doing to help?” I’ll tell you what once you start helping I’ll start to help, because if people of Lawton want it, I mean really want it then they will get off their butts and flush the CRAP down the toilet.
