Recycling
Check for $7,500.00 has been give to Horn Sanitation for the 3rd recycling bin.
B.Smith emailed from Goodyear that they just need some paperwork from Horn Sanitation in order to obtain a recycling bin but have not heard from Horn Sanitation. He was put in touch with contact at Horn Sanitation. It will go outside the gate so public can use it.
R.Bellino took the direction from A.Calloway a better way to sponsor on the bin would be to give educational materials on the, e.g. what to recycle and what not to recycle.
D.Jones asked about putting something on water bill. J.Powell said that there are only so many characters you can add to the message section of the water bill. It is done here and goes out with the next water bill. To put anything on the back of the envelope is very expensive. The bills come from an out of town vendor so we could not put a stuffer in the envelope here. Even bills that are paid electronically have a return envelope on the statement.
R.Bellino spoke with M.Austin from Assurant Solutions. They do not have a recycling bin in their budget this year but will work on it
J.Powell to follow up with Horn Sanitation as to where we are with obtaining the bin.
R.Bellino to contact B.Horn best way to apply information to side of bins
