Cameron University Students Create Telenovela > LawtonInfo.com

(Lawton, OK) Cameron University's Department of Communication is pleased to announce its first Spanish Language program, "Telenovela: Pasion Universitaria" for the student run television station. This television show on the CUTV station is the story of a couple from Puerto Rico (Fernando and Maria Isabel) who move to the state of Oklahoma to pursue a degree in medicine. The TV show was created by Cameron University Radio/Television students. The executive producer is Dr. Matt Jenkins. The producer is Cecilio Ramirez. Student director is Kyle Luetters. Actors in the staring roles are Jenyann Roig as Maria Isabel and Cecilio Ramirez as Fernando.

Fernando goes to his first class and he is caught daydreaming and lusting for a classmate (Xiomara) by his teacher. Later on, Fernando is quick-tempered when Blake Bowen gets too close to Maria Isabel.
